NATIVE PLANTS

Native plants play a crucial role in supporting bee populations by providing them with a diverse and abundant source of nectar and pollen. Additionally, native plants are well-suited to local climates and soil conditions, making them more resilient and requiring less water, fertilizer, and maintenance compared to non-native ornamental plants.

FRESH WATER

Similar to any other living creature, bees require water to stay hydrated. To meet their water requirements, bees often gather water from various sources such as ponds, rivers, puddles, or even dew on leaves. Providing a shallow water source like a bird bath, shallow dish, or small pond with a landing platform (e.g., rocks or floating objects) can assist bees in accessing water easily and safely.

SPACE TO FLY

Beekeeping isn't just for a farm or field. Rooftop beehives offer a solution to support honeybee conservation in urban areas while promoting biodiversity and sustainable living. By providing honeybees with access to diverse forage opportunities, bees can thrive and continue their vital role as pollinators.
